Know the Score, Beat the Pressure

Preventing Strokes in Georgia with Accessible Blood Pressure Monitoring

Blood pressure monitor distributed through equity pilot

The Challenge

High stroke risk in GA, lack of monitors.

Georgia has a 30% higher stroke mortality rate than the U.S. average.

Unmanaged high blood pressure is the leading cause of preventable strokes, which often result in lifelong disability, loss of independence, and financial hardship for families and health systems.

Yet 50% of Georgia households do not have a blood pressure monitor at home, leaving hypertension undetected and unmanaged.

Why Blood Pressure Monitoring Matters

Stroke Prevention in Rural Georgia

Our Pilot Program

Distribute. Train, Analyze.

We’re launching a 90-day pilot to make blood pressure monitoring accessible and actionable by:

  • Distributing home blood pressure monitors in communities across Georgia,

  • Training individuals on how to use them confidently, and

  • Collecting de-identified data to analyze blood pressure trends and needs.

Our goal is to prevent strokes before they happen and empower communities to manage hypertension at home.

Why Now?

Get Involved

Our Goal: 5,000+ uninsured people reached.

In rural areas, access to healthcare and fresh food is limited, leading to higher rates of hypertension and stroke. By partnering with local organizations, sponsors, and health systems, we can address these disparities and reduce preventable strokes.

Your support can help families avoid the devastating impact of stroke while reducing unnecessary healthcare costs in Georgia
